ESA is looking for a Science Operations Scientist to join the Science Directorate at ESAC, initially working on the ARRAKIHS mission. This is a 4-year position, with the possibility of extension. The role involves the definition, development and testing of science operations activities, working closely with the mission’s scientific and technical teams, while also offering opportunities to contribute to research and other scientific activities within ESA.
A 2-year position, extendable for 2 more years postdoctoral position is available at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, focused on Galactic Archaeology and Galaxy Formation. The position offers the opportunity to develop an independent research programme connected to any aspect of ARRAKIHS science, while contributing to the mission and its scientific activities. PhD candidates close to graduation and postdocs already working within ARRAKIHS are encouraged to apply.
